Colonic Hydrotherapy
What is Colonic Hydrotherapy?
Colonic Hydrotherapy is an ancient art designed to improve health by means of cleansing our internal canal. Colonic hydrotherapy is a gentle, painless experience that aims to clean, re-tone and re-train your large intestine (colon).
What will happen during treatment?
A detailed history is taken to ascertain the state of your colon and general health. A speculum is gently and carefully inserted into your rectum and body temperature water is gently allowed to flow in and out of your colon. Stomach massage encourages the water around your colon and herbs may be added if required. If necessary the water temperature is altered to either stimulate or relax your colon.
The treatment sometimes feels a little unusual but is NOT painful.
How Long Does The Treatment Last And What Does It Cost?
The treatment lasts between 30-40 minutes and costs £65.00 per session.
How many treatments you require depends on the state of your colon, general health and the reasons you have for requiring a treatment. Usually, people require a course of treatments: 1 per week for 4 weeks and then 1 per month for 2 months (6 in total). It is then usual to continue colonics every 6-12 months but this may alter depending on the results.
Who Would Benefit?
Everyone! We all wash ourselves outside and due to the amount of processed foods in our diet and general lack of exercise we could all benefit from colonic hydrotherapy for our general health and well being. However, Colonics are particularly helpful if you suffer any of the following:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Diverticulitis
Constipation
Loose stools
Food sensitivities
Candida infections
Poor skin conditions
Excess body odour
Parasitic infestations (colonic)
Low energy levels
Repetitive Urine infections
Bloating

While the idea of colonic hydrotherapy may not be the most desirable, it is well worth putting dignity to one side in order to get your health back on track.
